NDAA Drone Kit for Institutions
The ROAM™ (Reconfigurable Open Architecture Multirotor) is a professional-grade UAV platform designed for programs, institutions, and operators who demand adaptability without compromise.
ROAM™ offers the assurance of a fully U.S.-manufactured platform built by an established American drone company with experience supporting government and institutional customers.
NDAA Compliant
Built for Programs, Not Just Flights
Institutions face a unique challenge when selecting unmanned systems for training, research, and program development. The platform must be technically credible, structurally transparent, and supported by a company that understands long-term deployment — not just product sales.
ROAM™ was developed to meet that need.
Build, Program, and Fly in Hours, Not Days
As a modular, open-architecture UAV kit, ROAM™ allows students and operators to understand how the platform is assembled, how its systems integrate, and how it can be adapted for evolving mission requirements.
This three-part video series is a full walkthough.

ROAM FAQ
How long does the ROAM take to assemble?
Most users can fully assemble and configure ROAM in a single session.
If you’re familiar with the process, you can be up and flying in about an hour. For first-time builders, plan for closer to two to three hours.
There’s no need to rush. The system is designed to be straightforward, and as long as you have everything ready, including your frame kit, accessory kit, tools, and a PC, you can expect to complete assembly and programming the same day.
Are the ROAM Kit components NDAA compliant?
ROAM is designed to support programs that require NDAA-aligned procurement.
The Frame Kit includes NDAA-compliant core components, providing a compliant foundation for institutions prioritizing domestic sourcing and long-term program support.
The modular kit structure allows flexibility in how systems are configured to meet specific program requirements, while maintaining a serviceable and field-ready platform.
What is the difference between the Frame Kit and the Accessory Kit?
The Frame Kit includes the core structure and avionics of the ROAM platform. This is the foundation of the system, including the airframe, carrier board, GPS, radios, and autopilot.
The Accessory Kit includes the components required to complete the build and make the system flight-ready. This includes motors, propellers, battery, Remote ID module, and controller.
The kits are sold separately to allow flexibility in how systems are configured and deployed based on program requirements.
Are spare components available for bulk purchases?
Yes. ROAM is designed to support institutional programs at scale, and spare components are available for bulk purchase.
All major components are modular and individually replaceable, allowing programs to stock critical parts, perform maintenance in the field, and minimize downtime.
